Our feast evenings celebrate the seasons and all each offers us. They are an evening for the senses, with locally produced foods showcased in tasty imaginative colourful dishes and menus created by talented local chef Ian Ballantyne. Stunning natural foliage collected from the hedgerows and woodlands of the farm decorates the long candlelit dining tables, and lovely live music echoes around the rafters of the barn. We welcome everyone warmly, and the atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed, with a sense of community. It has been said that “no one feels like a stranger”.
Experience a winter feast where we rejoice in hunkering down inside with the fire stoked up and roaring, and hearty warming dishes. In the summer, we love to spill out in to the festoon lit courtyard, kitchen and all, to enjoy the evening sunshine and warmth, with hay bales to perch on around the fire bowl.
We have gone Greek, Spanish, Italian, and celebrated Robbie burns and Shakespeare…….so do keep your eyes peeled for upcoming events planned in the future!

Summer Solstice Samba Night!
Date: Saturday 20th June
Time: 6pm - 11pm
Copsegrove is going Carnival this year, to help us all celebrate the longest day of the year!
We shall be welcoming the fabulous high energy Samba drumming group “Simbora” from Stroud, led by the enthusiastic Tom Stickland. A lively vibrant community drumming group, Simbora have played at many venues, street carnivals and festivals both in and out of the county, and we are so excited to have them with us at Copsegrove playing their mix of Rio Samba, Brazilian funk, and Samba reggae, all reworked in to their own irresistible arrangements.
Prepare for the courtyard to be turned in to a street festival for one night only with accompanying music from DJ Jag form Stroud Global Beats, and some delicious Latin American Street food offerings from Ian Ballantyne cooked in the new outdoor courtyard kitchen!
Please do come and join us, perch on a hay bale with a Caipirhina cocktail or three, and enjoy the Afro Brazilian grooves floating around the courtyard as the sun goes down….we can’t wait! Hope you like the sound of it too maybe.

![Texan Hay Hoedown event]()
Texan Hay Hoedown!
Date: Friday 17th July
Time: 6.30pm - 11pm
Please come and join us to help us celebrate our hay harvest, and what could be more fitting then a good old Country Hoedown, a proper Boot Scootin' Boogy with The Real Texan Cowgirl, Jocelyn Penque in the courtyard!
So dust off those boots, and grab your hats, and come along to Copsegrove, for some good ol' live country music, and a chance to have some fun with a bit of line dancing (optional!).
A fun, relaxed and informal night, with heaps of freshly harvested hay bales to perch on whilst sipping a drink, devouring a burger, and the opportunity to get lively with some "Shuffles"," Grapevines" and maybe even a "Stomp and Hitch" on the new (flat!) courtyard....
Jocelyn grew up in Corsicana, Texas, a town steeped in the traditions of country music. She moved to the UK in 2010 and became a much sought after line dancing instructor, eventually joining forces with husband Leo, a talented singer and musician, who has embraced the country legends such as Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn and Tim Mcgraw, and now together they host lively Country Hoedowns. We are thrilled and excited to welcome them to Copsegrove for our first Hoedown in the courtyard, and we hope you might fancy coming to join us!
With some delicious Texan food on offer, cooked by Ian Ballantyne on the BBQ, and drinks from our Bull Pen Bar.
It promises to be heaps of fun!🍹 Your ticket includes:

Copsegrove Greek Extravaganza!
Date : Friday 15th May
Time: 6.30pm - 11pm
Tonight, we shall go Greek at Copsegrove!
Please come and join us for a fabulously tasty feast of Greek inspired dishes created and cooked by talented Iocal chef Ian Ballantyne, with help from wonderful fellow chef ( and friend of Greek heritage), Mark Stavrakakis.
We shall slow roast a whole lamb/hogget over the fire, and whilst it sizzles gently away, chefs Ian and Mark will create some magic in the kitchen using fine seasonal and local ingredients, some authentic Greek flavours, and some unique Ian creativity!
We are thrilled to be welcoming Pavlos Carvalho and Vasileios Voulgaropoulos with their guitar, bouzouki and voices to Copsegrove for the first time to bring some fabulous Rebetiko music to our feast. Rebetiko is a Greek music imbued with pulsating dancing rhythms, lyrical and soulful melodies, and that promises to fill us all with joy and have us dancing in and maybe even out of our seats!
Pavlos and Vasileios have performed their beloved traditional Greek music in an array of music venues over the years, from the smallest taverna to the Royal Albert Hall, and much inbetween! They are passionately dedicated to sharing their music and Greek traditions, also running workshops in schools, for choirs and orchestras, and playing in hospitals, hospices, and shelters for the homeless. We are thrilled to have them with us to help us create a very special and memorable night!
